DIL selected as a finalist in MEST Africa Summit Challenge to represent East Africa

Our Company Data Integrated has been selected as a finalist for the MEST Africa Summit Challenge. The company will now compete with 3 other companies from across Africa, in an event organized in Capetown, South Africa on 18th June, 2018.
The finalists were announced on 17th May by MEST.
“This is a superb opportunity for us. We are confident of winning,” said Mary Mwangi, Data Integrated, Chief Executive Officer.
The technology entrepreneurship challenge targets Pan-African startups and the winners have a chance to win $50k USD in equity investment.

“We’re excited to bring together leading players in the tech and investment space from across the continent and the globe once again, this time in our new home in Cape Town,” MEST Managing Director Aaron Fu said.
Formerly the Africa Tech Summit, the third MEST Africa Summit is known for investing in tech entrepreneurs in Africa and this year’s event will go Pan-African, bringing together top entrepreneurs, investors and executives from Africa, Silicon Valley and Europe, to network and discuss trends, challenges and opportunities affecting markets across the continent, under the theme The Year of the African Scaleup?

Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) Africa announced regional winners for its inaugural MEST Africa Challenge. The finals will see the regional winners from Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa go against each other and pitch their companies in front of over 150 leading global investors, entrepreneurs and executives. This will take place in Cape Town on June 20th, during the MEST Africa Summit.
